One Good Case Method

If you already have a relevant case, you can use it to find additional cases.

  • Read the case to see the cases your case cites
    • As you already know, a case cites lots of other cases.
    • You can find more information by reading the cases cited in your cases.
  • Read cases and secondary sources citing your case 
    • In most cases, your case has been cited by other cases. It may also have been cited by secondary sources commenting on your case.
    • You can locate these resources by using a citator.
  • Use Headnotes / Key Numbers in your case
